Dear readers,
There still has been no word from Professor Winwood. We contacted
the authorities in Egypt and they confirmed that he entered the
country back in April, but have no record of him leaving.
Could it be
that the professor found the key to the medallion and opened it,
or is there foul play involved in his disappearance? Sadly, until
we have further news the enigma surrounding the professor and the
medallion will not be answered.
We have emailed the other researchers who claimed to have found
identical medallions at different locations throughout the world,
but the emails were all bounced back, saying the recipients were
not known. It would seem that once they learned about the professors
disappearance, they very quickly deleted any indication that could
be traced back to them.
Could it be that they knew something the professor didn't? Is that
why they never came forward and proclaimed their find publicly in
the first place?
Perhaps the
answer to this riddle will only be found in some other time and
place:
